Purchased this for my wife for some retro gaming. Device is well made and brings back some old school memories. Love it!
Mr. S. P. Flitton –
I remember seeing Space Invaders for the first time when it first appeared back in the late 70’s. At the time it was groundbreaking and became a massive hit. All these years later and now you can buy your own fully working mini replica of the real thing.I reckon it must be around a tenth scale and appears to have virtually all the features where possible found on the real cabinet. The buttons have a nice feel and it seems to be made of good quality plastic. It’s an official Tatio product as well. The screen is supposed to replicate the back-lit mirrored effect seen in some machines and it does a good job of that although it does seem to sit further back inside the cabinet. You can power it by 4 AA batteries or by USB. One point to make is that although it will record the high score ( as in the real machine) it is lost once the power is switched off. A bit of a pity there isn’t a backup battery. I think it looks good as a decorative retroitem even if you don’t play on it. There are a number of these mini arcade machines appearing now but this seems to be the best so far.

Original 1978 version by Taitronics. Taito corporation. They’ve done really well to make it this good. Exactly as I remember playing it many moons ago…
Jennifer Webber –

Nostalgic fix until I can nab the Arcade 1up version.
Visually appealing, the retro game artwork on the packaging box itself and the micro console is beautiful. Controls, display, sound perform well for a compact little machine. I like that it takes both batteries or can be powered by usb cable.
