This is the Italian version but its not a problem as it lets you choose English as the language in the start up.Basically you need to be buying a true blue mini or some other usb with pre-loaded games to get any value out of this machine the included games will not hold your attention for long. I managed to pick up a usb for a tenner off ebay with thousands of games on it including all the last ninja games. Doing this turns this into one hell of a nostalgia trip well worth shelling out the cash for. I found it very easy to set up just put the usb in and go to settings and it asks you if you want to update firmware click on yes and BOOM the usb is visible on the main menu at the bottom click on it and BOOM thousands of games happy days . I have ordered one of the true blue mini usb off amazon as well but it has yet to arrive . Overall for £44 pound plus the usb price I am very happy.

    Good memory’s thank you.

Very happy I bought this and with the update and an external HD stick I can play the games I choose and not just the in built games. Only criticism is the joystick which can be confusing and slows down gameplay

    Great item. Hours of fun.

Absolutely loved my C64 but a good reminder that nostalgia is not all it’s cracked up to be.

Have a good look at the picture as thats the one you get, its not in English. Bit of a shame when its a pressie for Xmas! DOh

This is a true replica of the old console. I’ve heard criticism of the joystick but it’s authentic and similar to the old competition pro 5000. The games are bang on, exactly the same. The only downside is the fact the keyboard doesn’t work and you have to rely on the virtual keyboard (the c64 maxi removes this issue) but otherwise I could not be happier with this. It’s back to my childhood and when lockdown is over my brother and father will be knocking my door down to get a shot at this.

The device is small and works well. To enable playing of games via usb had to upgrade bios / firmware. (Easy process). Really need a keyboard to make life easy virtual keyboard is functional. If running usb game the. Can only use one joy stickOverall a blast from the past. Saved me showing my 4 year old games that took 20 mins to load.

With a firmware upgrade it is great little machine
I don’t think I would have paid the original $80. For the $44 it is a fun buy. I have 2 real c64, while those are great. It’s nice to be able to just plug this in to new technology. If you load a virtual .d64 on the thumb drive not only can you add your own games, but program in basic and save your own.
